Our culture is changing. Over 2,000 years of Western-Judeo Christianity, as well as our OT heritage, are under assault, in ways never imagined. Yet we are mindful that 3,000 years ago, during the period of the Judges, Scripture reveals, “In those days... everyone did what was right in his own eyes” (Judges 21:25)
Sadly, Scripture would characterize such words as today’s present times. Foundational truths are under siege in every dimension of life. Time-honored values and core beliefs, once embraced as cornerstone truths, have been abandoned. God’s truths have been increasingly ridiculed.
Paul’s words to the Romans resonate clearly and timely: “Professing to be wise, they became fools...and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever” (Rom 1:22-25)
Yet we are called to grow in biblical knowledge and serve God in all areas of our lives. We are to honor God in every aspect of our life. For these reasons, the Cross Roads Bible Institute is dedicated to enriching the lives of those who seek truth.
The Cross Roads Bible Institute is relatively new (late 2009) to Harford County, yet is committed in its exiting journey. We have completed numerous classes, with our first Institute graduation now planned.
We encourage you to consider attending one of our classes, which runs for 10 sessions (once/week, for 10 weeks). The cost is $40 per course (plus books), or $20 for audit. And, based on only six (6) completed courses, an Institute certificate is awarded.
(Based on 12 and 18 completed courses, ‘advanced’ level certificates are awarded).
These are the times to embrace God’s Holy Scriptures. “Leaders are Learners,” and we are to grow in God’s Word throughout our entire lives.
