Uganda Missions Trip October 6-October 21, 2023

Dear Rick,

Per your request, here is a summary of my forthcoming Missions Trip. I will be arriving in Entebbe, Uganda on October 7. During the two weeks there, the following ac􀆟vi􀆟es will be performed:

A. Teaching: I will be teaching two classes: (1) Romans and (2) Philippians-Philemon. I am told to expect approximately 40-50 students in atendance.

B. Evangelism: I will serve as an evangelis􀆟c speaker on a Regional Crusade, as reflected in the

poster below. As shown, I will be one of 4 speakers, and I am told I will be the primary speaker.

I believe this is a wonderful opportunity to share the Gospel of Christ. I am told that the Crusade typically has in atendance 500-1,000 people from various villages. There will be bap􀆟sms and Bibles handed out to people. I am told these are generally remote village areas. (I am staying at a pastor’s house where there I no running water!)

Ruth and I thus far are covering all my travel and living expenses(~ $2,000). I have received some support monies from friends and family, but I will provide addi􀆟onal support as needed.

With 30+ years at the UCRBC, rest assured that wherever I go, my UCRBC heritage goes with me. Any support monies would be greatly appreciated.
