Dear Family and Friends – Final Report on Uganda! –
From March 14 to March 23, 2026, I was engaged in a fantastic journey in supporting the military and ministry folks in Uganda and doing the work of the Lord. I am so grateful. I want to thank everyone involved. It was unbelievable. In particular I want to thank Ivan and Jude for the support and leadership. This was a wonderful trip for me, as the Lord led me in ministering, preaching, and evangelizing. Although only God determines and knows the outcomes, I believe 5 people trusted Christ. Coming off the trip to Ukraine, I was able to do my best (with the Lord’s leading) to minister to church parishioners, soldiers, prison staff, and the churches.
Allow me a few recap notes and photos, below. Please observe the “God Loves You” book markers I distributed – I must have given over 120 of these to folks…and they loved them!
To God be the Glory!
1) On March 22, I have my final sermon this morning, Sunday, at Truth Fountain Church in Lira, Uganda. The church was packed… filled with joy and music. My sermon dealt with the meaning of “God‘s Grace“ in our lives…(Eph 2:8-10 and 1 Pet 1:13- 2:10).

2) On March 21, we conducted an evangelistic revival at Truth Fountain Church, in Lira, Uganda, and I met with Church leadership elders and many military. I spoke on the leadership approaches of Jesus in His 7-“I am” sayings; David in Psalm 23; and Paul in Philippians 1. Three people 3-people trusted in Christ as savior. Ambassador Dickson was present and a real joy and support for his leadership.

3) On March 19, I ministered at the Uganda Army Infantry HQs, Bombo Town, Uganda - I spoke on Luke 2:42-52. During the invitation, one officer trusted Christ as Savior. I distributed the “book markers” with the inscription, “God loves You,” from Irene Edgar. They are practicing the pointed “finger-eye-heart-person” routine on a friend sitting close-by.

4) March 18, I returned from a 6 AM ministry session at the prison. Although photos are not allowed, this was a very special and moving experience worthy to be mentioned. When I arrived, it was still dark, and the prison/military staff was assembled in information. Once the staff was placed in the “parade rest“ position, I encouraged them in the faith. I recited Psalm 23, and explained the situation of David at the time the Psalm was written. I told them how special they were to God, and how God leads them, protects them, and guards them as they serve His purposes and do their work. Under the glow of the nearby light, I could see their faces and how they were listening carefully to every word I was saying. I gave them the gospel message about Jesus Christ and an invitation to accept Christ. I challenged them in the spirit of 2 Timothy 2:1- 10, (1) to be a good “soldier” and stay focused on the mission and obey the rules given to them; (2) be a good “athlete” for Christ, following the course of the run; and (3) be a good “farmer” who is always patient and dedicated in doing their work. Then the closing prayer…Before departing, I gave special “book markers“ to the commander to distribute. On each “book marker” were the written words, “God loves you.” As left, the entire assembly held the “book markers” in the air and applauded. (No Photos allowed in the prison)
5) On March 17, leaving Entebbe and enroute to minister to Uganda prison and military staffs. This morning, a high honor was extended to me—I was greeted by Ambassador Dickson Ogwal, the former Uganda Ambassador to the US. He is a strong inspiring Christian. We discussed our Christian faith, as I shared key points of my sermons. He presented me a book that he authored. On March 16, my final sermon and gospel invitation at the “Peculiar New Llife Church” in Entebbe, Uganda. Several military were in attendance! I distributed more “book markers,” with several folks joyfully holding “God Loves You” book markers from Irene Edgar!

6) On March 15, a packed Sunday morning Church service in Entebbe, Uganda! My sermon covered Philippians 1, with dual themes on vv. 1:6, 21…(“‘He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus’ ….’To live is Christ and to die is gain.’”) Shown are church leaders, military officers, and prison staff. A very lively and God-fearing congregation. Welcome to Christianity in beautiful Uganda! I distributed hand-made book markers, from Irene Edgar, with the inscription “God is love.” I brought 85 with me and the supply was quickly exhausted.

To God be the Glory!
