Ukraine -- Visiting Wounded Soldiers

Today marked "Part 3" of my Ukraine trip — visiting wounded soldiers and giving encouragement to the supporting military staff. In many ways, today was a very profound day, but a sobering day also. I met with wounded soldiers in the hospital in Chernivtsi, Ukraine. The wounds included amputations, shrapnel wounds from Russian missiles, etc. I described my family and military background; presented a couple stories about God‘s work in my life; prayed with them; and listened to their hopes and dreams; and presented the gospel of Christ in every room. Seated with me are members of the Christian Rescue Service/Chaplains.
The wounds are evident — both physically and emotionally. Below are a few photographs (taken and shown with permission.)

Blessings and remember to pray for the people and soldiers of the Ukraine.
