Upcoming Mission Trips for 2026

Dear Friends and Colleagues in Christ,
Greetings on behalf of our Lord, who calls each of us to serve Him with passion and joy! I am writing this letter to update you on planned Mission trips for the Spring. This will be a very busy and exciting time, to say the least. Most importantly, I covet your prayers!
· From February 14-March 3, I will be in Ukraine, teaching in 2 churches (Ecclesiastes and Philippians); preaching in two other churches to refugees; and visiting wounded Ukrainian soldiers in hospitals. And my Ukrainian sponsor, Pastor Yuri, has alerted me:
“Be prepared to have no electricity for 14-16 hours a day literally, and therefore no water, no internet, etc. We may do evening teaching just with flashlights…It is hard on everyone. The school is cold, kids and teachers study and teach with their coats on, the heating is barely working…Also a lot of people are sick now…Russia deliberately tries to destroy all power generating plants here.”
· From March 13-23, I will be in Uganda. I will be working with Christian military personnel in Uganda regions (teaching, evangelism, encouragement). The Epistle to Philippians will be the focus area.
· From April 17-April 25, I will be in Serbia, teaching Ecclesiastes at the local seminary and church, visiting two Gypsy churches, and sharing the gospel.
Let me share a few requests with you:
1. Prayer, Prayer, Prayer! International travel is difficult, and the locations are challenging, as I teach God’s word, preach, evangelize, and encourage people in the faith.
2. As the Lord leads, any contributions would be appreciated, earmarked as follows: “Dr. Erickson Missions’ Trips”; Upper Cross Roads Baptist Church, 2717 Greene Road, Baldwin, MD, 21013. I know there will be additional needs brought to my attention to help people.
May God richly bless you and your families this year and may each of us love the Lord our God; honor Him in all we do; and preach the Gospel of Christ and strengthen believers!
